So I see that you have a "Winter Drumline", but is that like an ensemble that just performs in the winter, or is like WGI marching percussion? If you guys don't have a winter percussion that marches and competes, you should make one, because it would kick everyone's butts.

Overall, it's just a percusion ensemble, we play two standstill drumline pieces, some fun pieces, and some more serious mallet pieces and solos. Our show is April 30, 2:30 pm at Loeb Playhouse. We have a great time, come check it out.

Is this a fall members only type deal, or can anyone else audition for this?
I'd love to keep up my chops, but I can't sacrifice my time (at least not during my first semester). I marched three years with the Project from Pittsburgh in WGI independent world class.

This is definitly open to anyone. We have people from other sections who join just becuase it is so much fun. But just to be clear, we are not a WGI group nor do we put on that style of a show. This is more a performance of various types of percussion styles and songs put together to creat a performance. (We stop between each song reset stuff that kind of thing) But definitly come out it is a ton of fun.
